Its hard to get the right mixture to make a venue established and eclectic in the same breath but at one stage this place had that. Now its tardy, poorly run with warm over priced beer and second rate monotonous music! It has struck from the pub crawl list by myself and many other friends in and around the Birmingham area."

DJ G-G said on 18th January ... "I've been playing at Angels as a resident dj there now since April 2007 and have seen many changes. The bar however always attracts a great crowd and the staff are always wearing a smile.

Pride 2007 at Angels was Electric, including the Monday, when everyone thought pride had finshed we kicked off at 1pm and both myself and Clarkey played back to back till 12 mignight. the 11 hour set killed us but was worth it.

There is an art deco feel to the place with a very Catching light changing bar that can relax or lift the mood....

I had a fantastic time, it was extremely friendly, not too packed, okay its a bit on the small side, but over all the atmosphere in there is fantastic, no bother everyone keeps themselves to them selves.

Bouncers were really nice, bar staffs were really friendly and knew how to have a joke.

I recommend this bar to everybody.
MOST OF ALL THERE WAS NO ONE CURLING UP FROM USING DRUGS. bad thing if ur on drugs but good if your not.
