Not a patch on the bars at the Radisson, Malmaisson, Jewellery Qtr etc which are much more relaxed yet unmarket. Summer row has had its day - move on and leave Mechu to their `regulars' who would no doubt be out of place in anywhere better anyway!

Opposite Oceana and next to Barracuda. I use it as a pre-club bar for Air. It is just a pre-club bar, although it is open late. What a brilliant friendly pub. The beer is good, best pint in nechells whatever your drink. Great friendly staff team led by the Gaffer Phil. If you want a quality well priced meal give it a try.
