Educated at Bromsgrove School and RADA his film, theatre and TV roles have been numerous and varied ever since he first appeared as a Man In Shower in Children in 1976.


The Birmingham born actor is most remembered as the award-winning Eddie Shoestring, his film work includes Dracula (1979), Scandal (1989), Aspen Extreme (1993) and In the Name of the Father in the same year. On the small screen his credits include Jamaica Inn, a Sense of Guilt and A Dolls House.

In 1981 he won a best actor award for his West End stage performance in Children of a Lesser God.

He is married to actress Sharon Maughan - Better known as the Gold Blend woman. Trevor Eve is now also producing programmes.
