The city-centre’s longest-established quality restaurant – a rather glitzy Italian – is usually “mega-busy”; reports on it remain rather mixed, however, not helped by service that can be “unhelpful”. [read more]

I have visited here many times and the food is always great. The pizzas are exceptional, some of the best i've had outside of Italy and they serve a good variety of dishes, especially sea food. San Carlos serves great quality food at a reasonable price. I would say it is a good reliable choice to go for.

Only been once but it was top draw. Excellent choice, and the food is magnificent. I'd recommend it to anybody. Try the mussel's.

I love to eat out Im out with friends or my partner twice a week generally. We enjoy the nicer things in life, and strongly believe a meal out should be everything a restaurant actually should be great food, great atmosphere, great service, great price. San Carlo is by far my favourite restaurant in city it just ticks all of the boxes and more!! We are there at least once a week, and have NEVER been disappointed in the food or service weve received. The restaurant is set over 2 floors and is very glamorous, with mirrors on the walls and lots of potted trees and plants. A lovely restaurant in the city centre.
